First Impressions of First Day of TIC

The first day of The Internet Classroom was really interesting in its own way. Interpreting the person at the beginning of class was very exciting and thrilling, as I didn’t know what would come out from the other line of the screen. After meeting the person I was talking to on the computer, I was really pleased to meet that person. I realized that she’s charismatic and cool, even though she’s quite shy. I discovered that this class is packed full of humor and laughs, especially when we were talking a lot about rules of the classroom including a section about memes. I (myself) don’t really enjoy memes since I don’t find humor in that kind of stuff, but I enjoy seeing people happy and that we’re all engaged in our work at the same time. I was surprised at the TA’s: David, Carlie, Anthony, Vishal, Sean, and the rest of them. They all seemed chill and occasionally would check on us and try to help us out. My classmates around me were really nice and cool as well.

I’m really hoping that I can exceed in this class, adding to the fact that this is my second year at ATDP. And I need to absolutely get an A+ on this class to please my parents or else they will exclude me from my own household. A personal experience that I have similar to this is last year when I was at ATDP in the class called, “Fundamentals of Art”. Just like this first day, I had no idea what was what, who was who, and where was where. In other words, I was “blind”. As time passed throughout the class, I started learning more about my classmates, the teacher herself, and got introduced to what the class was all about (just like today). To summarize, today was “lit” (as how Travis Scott would say things) and I’m hoping it will be like that for the rest of the classes in the future.
